- diagnostic analysis: to find whether there is a market for the company’s products or services, whether the company can be competitive for the next 10 years with respect to their equipment and other key resources (knowledge and competences of employees, the strength of the product range, organisation, etc.), and what are the present and future key competitive advantages of the company;
